SUNDAY 17TH FEBRUARY 2019

We kicked off in style on Friday evening at Sutton Bank where the stars shone for our 'Astrophotography' Photo Walk. Then, on Saturday we were in Wensleydale photographing the many waterfalls that line dot the valley, visiting five during the day and returning to capture West Burton Falls after dark! What a fabulous weekend!

YORKSHIRE DALES DARK SKIES FESTIVAL

SUNDAY 3RD FEBRUARY 2019

Once again, in 2019 Yorkshire Photo Walks are taking part in the Yorkshire Dales Dark Skies Festival. We are staging 3 Photo Walks between February 16th and 22nd celebrating the Dales after Dark. From waterfalls at night to our annual visit to Bolton Abbey, lighting the ruins, there will be plenty to keep you and your camera busy! Also, watch out for us in the Sunday Times, who will be covering our 'Waterfalls After Dark' session.

It might be cold outside at the moment but summer is just around the corner! Our Photo Walks for May are now online. They feature 'Mastering Hight, Depth and Perspective,' at Wainman's Pinnacle and Lund's Tower near Keigthley and 'Black and White Photography Explained' at Connonley Lead Mine near Skipton.

Yorkshire Dales PHOTO WALK WEEKEND

SUNDAY 20TH JANUARY 2019

This summer we are staging a weekend of Photo Walks in Swaledale. On the evening of Friday 7th June we will be looking at basic landscape photography technique, on Saturday 8th June we will be exploring the area's waterfalls before catching the sunset at Tan Hill. On Sunday 9th June we will visit Muker Meadows in all their colourful glory and explore the bleak yet beautiful landscape of Buttertubbs Pass.
