BOLTON ABBEY

Back by popular request, our annual wildlife session introduces you to camera settings, telephoto lenses and composition technique. With guaranteed opportunities to photograph wildfowl and squirrels at close quarters, this is the perfect place to get to grips with your camera and it's capabilities.

Depth of Field is how much of your photo is in focus. When taking close ups, a shallow depth of field can be really useful in simplifying the background and drawing your viewer's eye to a focal point. In landscapes a deep depth of field can emphasise detail. Find out how to set your camera to achieve amazing results.

Join Tom at Bolton Abbey on Saturday 22nd April for two inspirational Photo Walks. The first will help you to get to grips with photographing waterfalls at Posforth Gill, the second will introduce you to settings, behind the scenes, in your camera that are guaranteed to improve your photographs.

WHAT TOM'S CLIENTS SAY...

Having been on several photo walks I have always found a new place and experience each time I've been. Not only has it improved my photographic knowledge but it has made the day very enjoyable.

Paul Richardson, Leeds

The walk leader, Tom, has been very knowledgeable about the region, and has found walks in areas that I would never have even thought of. He is also very good at teaching photography, from the basics up to the high level concepts, and as I have been on more walks he has pushed me to improve bit by bit into a better photographer.
